How do I delete my account?

Account deletion is permanent. Submit a request from Account Settings and it is processed within 30 days.

You can request to permanently delete your Fluent Forward account at any time. Please read the following carefully before proceeding.

Before you delete

  • ·Cancel any active subscription first.
  • ·Download any lesson recordings or chat history you want to keep.
  • ·If you are a tutor, ensure your Tutor Wallet balance is $0 (withdraw any remaining earnings).

How to request deletion

  1. 1Go to Account Settings → Privacy → Delete account.
  2. 2Read the summary of what will be deleted.
  3. 3Enter your password to confirm your identity.
  4. 4Click "Request account deletion".
  5. 5You will receive a confirmation email. Click the link inside within 24 hours to finalize the request.
  6. 6Your account is permanently deleted within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • ·Your profile and personal information.
  • ·All lesson history and recordings.
  • ·All messages and files.
  • ·Your subscription and payment methods.

What may be retained

  • ·Anonymized reviews you left on tutor profiles (name replaced with "Former student").
  • ·Transaction records required by financial and tax law (typically 7 years).

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. If you simply want a break, consider pausing your subscription instead of deleting your account.
