Automatic logouts help protect your account from unauthorized access. Here are the most common reasons they happen.
Common reasons for automatic logout
- ·Session timeout — sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity.
- ·Password change — changing your password logs out all other active sessions for security.
- ·Suspicious activity — if our systems detect an unusual login (new device, new location), we may log out all sessions.
- ·Multiple device sessions — if you are logged in on too many devices simultaneously, older sessions may be terminated.
- ·Browser data cleared — clearing cookies or using private/incognito mode ends your session.
How to stay logged in
- ·Check the "Keep me logged in" box on the login page.
- ·Do not clear browser cookies.
- ·Use a personal device rather than a shared computer.
If you think your account was accessed without your permission
- 1Reset your password immediately.
- 2Go to Account Settings → Security → Active sessions.
- 3Click "Sign out all other sessions".
- 4Enable two-factor authentication.
- 5Contact support if you see unrecognized activity.
Never share your login credentials with anyone, including tutors. Fluent Forward staff will never ask for your password.
