How do I enable two-factor authentication (2FA)?
Add a second layer of security to your account using an authenticator app or SMS.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second verification step when you log in, making it much harder for someone to access your account even if they have your password.
Enable 2FA with an authenticator app (recommended)
- 1Download an authenticator app: Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.
- 2Go to Account Settings → Security → Two-factor authentication.
- 3Click "Enable 2FA" and select "Authenticator app".
- 4Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
- 5Enter the 6-digit code displayed in the app to confirm setup.
- 6Save your backup codes in a secure place.
Enable 2FA with SMS
- 1Go to Account Settings → Security → Two-factor authentication.
- 2Click "Enable 2FA" and select "SMS".
- 3Enter your phone number and verify it with the code sent.
Authenticator apps are more secure than SMS-based 2FA because they are not vulnerable to SIM-swapping attacks. We strongly recommend using an app.
