Every tutor on Fluent Forward has an overall rating displayed on their profile. This is calculated from verified student reviews across four dimensions.
Rating dimensions
- ·Teaching quality — how well the tutor explained concepts and structured the lesson.
- ·Communication — clarity, patience, and responsiveness.
- ·Punctuality — joining on time and managing the lesson schedule.
- ·Overall satisfaction — the student's general impression of the session.
How the score is calculated
- ·Ratings are weighted: recent reviews count more than older ones.
- ·A minimum of 3 completed lessons is required before a rating is displayed publicly.
- ·The displayed score is the weighted average of the overall satisfaction dimension.
What the stars mean
- ·5 stars — exceptional. The tutor significantly exceeded expectations.
- ·4 stars — great. A very good lesson with minor room for improvement.
