How do I message a tutor?
Send a message from a tutor's profile or your inbox before or after booking.
Are my messages private?
Messages are encrypted in transit. Fluent Forward staff can access them only in safety investigations.
Can I share files in the chat?
Yes — share PDFs, images, and documents up to 25 MB directly in any conversation.
How do I manage my notifications?
Control email, push, and in-app notifications from Account Settings → Notifications.
What should I do if I receive inappropriate messages?
Report and block the sender. Our Trust & Safety team investigates all reports within 24 hours.
How long are messages stored?
Messages are kept for 2 years after an account is last active, then permanently deleted.
Can I message tutors I have not booked yet?
