Occasional technical issues can happen. Here are the fastest ways to fix the most common problems.

Audio or video not working

  1. 1Click the camera/microphone icon in the classroom toolbar to check device selection.
  2. 2Make sure your browser has permission to access the camera and mic (check the address bar).
  3. 3Reload the classroom page — your session will resume automatically.
  4. 4Try a different browser or disable extensions.

Connection drops

  1. 1Move closer to your Wi-Fi router or connect via Ethernet.
  2. 2Close other browser tabs and video streams that are using bandwidth.
  3. 3Refresh the classroom page — your tutor will be notified you reconnected.

If the lesson cannot continue

If technical issues caused by Fluent Forward infrastructure prevent the lesson from running (confirmed by our systems), you will receive a full lesson credit refund. Contact support within 24 hours of the lesson with a description of the issue.

Always run the connection test at fluentforward.com/connection-test before your first lesson to check camera, mic, and speed compatibility.
