What is the video classroom like?

The Fluent Forward virtual classroom is purpose-built for tutoring. It combines high-quality video with tools that make learning interactive and effective.

Classroom features

• ·HD video and audio with automatic quality adjustment based on your connection.
• ·Interactive whiteboard — both tutor and student can draw, write, and annotate.
• ·Screen sharing — tutors can share their screen or specific browser tabs.
• ·File sharing — upload PDFs, images, and documents directly in the session.
• ·In-lesson chat for typing links, vocabulary, or notes.
• ·On-screen timer showing remaining lesson time.
• ·Session recording (if enabled by the tutor).

Joining a lesson

1. 1Go to Dashboard → Upcoming lessons.
2. 2The "Join" button activates 5 minutes before the scheduled start.
3. 3Click "Join" — your browser will ask for camera and microphone permission.
4. 4Allow access and you will enter the lesson room.
