How does the tutor background check work?

All tutors on Fluent Forward must pass a background check before they can teach. This is a core part of our commitment to student safety.

What the check covers

• ·Criminal record check (country-specific scope).
• ·Sex offender registry check (where applicable).
• ·Identity verification.

How it works

1. 1After submitting your application, you receive an email from our background check provider (Checkr or equivalent).
2. 2Follow the link and provide the required information (name, DOB, address, ID document).
3. 3The check typically completes within 1–3 business days.
4. 4Fluent Forward is notified of the result and proceeds with your application.
